What is Studio Membership?
Studio Membership gives you regular access to our pottery studio for open, self-directed making.
You’ll work alongside others in a shared space, with experienced potters nearby for guidance, questions, and support.
It’s designed for people who want consistency, community, and time to develop their practice.
Membership is available to those with some prior experience. If you're unsure, just get in touch!
Membership is $75 per week

What you get as
a studio member
Studio Membership is designed to give you regular, reliable access to the studio, with clear systems in place so everyone can work comfortably and safely.

Multiple open studio sessions run each week included in your membership fee. Currently 10 sessions, with more coming soon
Attend multiple sessions per week
Sessions are booked in advance via our booking app
Wheel and handbuilding spots are limited to ensure space and focus
Book up to four weeks ahead

Dedicated wheel throwing and handbuilding areas
Use of shared studio equipment including wheels, slab roller, work benches, and tools
Access to a selection of house-made glazes
A well-organised, working studio designed for regular use

Each member is allocated one shelf (300mm x 1200mm x 250mmH) for work in progress
A cubby is provided for clay and personal items
Additional storage can be purchased if needed (subject to availability)
Storage systems help keep the studio tidy and functional

Bisque firing is included for members
Glaze firing is available for $75 per 500mm x 500mm x 150mm shelf (price includes glaze)
A selection of house-made glazes are included in your membership
Glaze firing space is reserved on a first-come, first-served basis and firings occur when the kiln is full.
Various clays are available to purchase in the studio
Additional glazes and materials are available for purchase

• Private tuition is available at $75/hr. for individuals.
• Specific classes can be arranged for groups of members
• Members have priorty access to workshops and events
• Additional courses and tuition will be offered throughout the year to those who would like to learn specific skills.

Your membership is not a formal teaching program, however, an experienced potter is present during each session to offer guidance when needed
Members work alongside others in a shared, respectful environment
The studio values consistency, generosity, and care for shared space

• Membership is available to those who have completed our On Ramp Course or those with adequate pottery experience.
• Membership is at our discretion and may be refused if we feel you can not work safely within our working pottery environment
• Members are expected to attend those sessions they have reserved. Repeated unattended bookings will not be tolerated
• Membership is only available to adults 18 years and over
• We have a zero tolerance policy for bullying and discrimination of any kind. All people are welcome
• Studio Membership is not intended for production potters or those running a business. If this is your intention, please contact us for an alternative arrangement
